ABOVE TO GROUND is a nonprofit organization focused on addressing the immediate needs of Austin's homeless population by providing hot meals, comfortable attire, hygiene necessities, and social services. The organization integrates its faith, operating through the grace and provision of Jesus Christ. Governed by a Board of Directors with various specialized roles, the organization ensures planned, documented, and accountable operations.
The governing body handles major decisions, financial oversight (currently with the President/CEO), and volunteer management. ABOVE TO GROUND operates sustainably and ethically. The organization maintains detailed records for transparency while maintaining full compliance with Texas law. In the event of dissolution, ATG will distribute assets to another organization to continue serving the public good. You can read the full bylaws for more details.
